GREATVISORY will map and analyse needs of stakeholders in 5 Central Asia countries for DARYA project

No time to waste. After a constructive kick-off meeting on 30th September in an express pace we started preparing the mapping activities based on the Analytical Framework and a research plan. This time activities relate to Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan, i.e. all countries covered by the very important activity envisaged to start and and be implemented by ETF – Dialogue and Action for Resourceful Youth (DARYA) in Central Asia.

The overall objective of DARYA is ‘to contribute to post-COVID recovery in Central Asia by fostering improved employability of young women and men in the regions through inclusive and labour-market oriented skills development’ by:

  1. Fostering the quality and inclusiveness of education, training and employment systems in Central Asia
  2. Fostering participatory and inclusive dialogue and cooperation mechanisms at national and regional level.

GV will be responsible for mapping activities in each country and the preparation of the country reports. We will take part in consultations meetings as well as will lead interviews in order to best reflect the situation in countries and make recommendations for the DARYA direction. The results will be presented during a DARYA launch event in Almaty, whereas revised action plan, milestones and performance indicators proposed in December 2022.
