GREATVISORY completed qualitative and quantitative research for the study: “Analysing the skills dimension of technology transfer in the Western Balkans economies”.

GREATVISORY started activities in this study for ETF in September 2022 with thorough desk research, literature review and documents analysis of technology transfer ecosystem in six Balkans’ economies: North Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Serbia, Albania and Kosovo. We have focused on identifying the configuration of the national technology transfer systems in the WB6 economies, including main policy frameworks, actors and their respective functions, finance mechanisms, scientific and industrial capacity. Separate report for each country has been prepared.

In October we have started online qualitative survey focused on analysing the skills related services, actions, and practices put in place by education and training providers and others technology transfer actors in support to technology transfer.

Finally this month a series of qualitative methods are used to confirm the results obtained in two first activities (desk research and survey) which consist of interviews and focus groups.

In January next year, all modular reports will be merged into one summary report per country, results of the study will be presented both to ETF and country stakeholders and visualised also in the form of short infographics.

GV is the sole implementer of the study under the framework contract for ETF.
